The Stop Smoking Service is a free service that is available to the community to help smokers become smokefree.

The Stop Smoking Service is a free service that is available to the community to help smokers become smokefree. HARC is a partner organisation in the Whanganui Regional Stop Smoking Service providing a walk-in and referral service at the Quit Clinic at 49 Ingestre street Whanganui.

The Quit Clinic provides free Nicotine Replacement Therapy and can also provide patients with information about prescription-only quit smoking medication such as Champix and Zyban.

The Quit Clinic also provides a specialist service for hapū māmā and their whānau, and a hospital liaison service to ensure early involvement of stop smoking practitioners for hospital patients who smoke.
